BRENTWOOD FARMERS’ MARKET OPENS SATURDAY
Buying fresh fruits and vegetables in season at local farmers’ markets or roadside stands or growing them yourself in your garden is a great way to make tastier, healthier meals for you and your family.
And the good news is…finding your local farmers market just got a little easier, especially if you live in Brentwood. This Saturday, The Brentwood Farmers’ Market will officially opened and will be available every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon until November 21st.
So stop by First Street, between Chestnut and Oak Street and discover the perfect place to shop for the season’s freshest fruits and vegetables grown and brought directly from the local orchards and farms.
Aside from the many farms which sell fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables, there are also a number of dry goods producers found in the market, including fresh breads and pastries, meats and seafood, and honey.
There is plenty of activity on hand for the family to enjoy and attendees can also purchase fresh-cut flowers, some home-made yummy chocolates and pies, and even specialty Mexican food and Indian food.
