Holiday Donations Needed for Brentwood

The Brentwood Regional Community Chest Program helps more than 500 families from Brentwood, Byron, Discovery Bay, Knightsen and Bethel Island. The families are presented with a full holiday dinner, canned foods and age-appropriate gifts for the children.  This program is largely dependent upon the generosity and support of the local community.Brentwood Community Chest

TRI Pointe Homes is a business in the Brentwood community and currently building a total of 410 homes in for communities at Sand Creek Road and Garin Parkwary.

We want to do our part and help the Community Chest Program.  To make this happen, we need your help with donations of non-perishable food items and toys.

Barrels are located at local banks, post offices,Helping Families in Brentood local businesses, Brentwood, Byron and Knightsen elementary and middle schools, as well as many other locations. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated. All donations to the Community Chest stay in East County.

We will also need volunteers to help with the packing and distributing the items to over 500 families. transparent

Toy boxes will be assembled on Tuesday, December 9th from 4 to 9 p.m.at 400 Guthrie Lane in Brentwood.  Food and boxes will be packed on Friday, December 12th from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Brentwood Elementary Cafeteria.  All boxes will be distributed to families on Saturday, December 13th from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
