Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure

This is to give notice that Tri Pointe Homes Holdings, Inc. (“TPHH”) has a business relationship with Tri Pointe Assurance, Inc. (“Assurance”), a title and escrow agency that works with First American Title Insurance Company and First American Title Guaranty Company (collectively, “First American”). Specifically, TPHH’s ultimate parent entity, Tri Pointe Homes, Inc., indirectly owns 100% of TPHH and Assurance. Accordingly, any referral to Assurance may provide TPHH, its parent company and/or its affiliates with a financial or other benefit.

Set forth below is the estimated charge, or range of charges, for the settlement services offered by Assurance.

Title Examination and Escrow Services—In Colorado, Assurance will issue title policies on behalf of First American. Assurance will not make a separate charge to consumers for its services, but will be entitled to receive 50% to 85% of the title insurance premium that is charged by First American. The estimated range of title premium charges as well as the fees Assurance charges for escrow services are available upon request.

You are NOT required to use Assurance as a condition for settlement of your loan on, or purchase, sale or refinance of, the subject property. THERE ARE FREQUENTLY OTHER SETTLEMENT SERVICE PROVIDERS AVAILABLE WITH SIMILAR SERVICES. YOU ARE FREE TO SHOP AROUND TO DETERMINE THAT YOU ARE RECEIVING THE BEST SERVICES AND THE BEST RATE FOR THESE SERVICES.
