First step to success

"Tell us all of the details you want in a new home," says Steven Buterbaugh, a New Home Specialist in the DC Metro area. The New Home Specialist is often the first contact you will have in your homebuying journey with Tri Pointe Homes. They will be your online resource for finding the right community, virtual home tours, answer any questions you may have about the neighborhood, and will even help book you an appointment with a New Home Advisor. Beyond that, your New Home Specialist will stay in touch with you to give you important details and updates about the neighborhood you are interested in. "We’ll do our best to match your wants and needs to the best neighborhood and new home for you."

Clear communication

Once you've selected a neighborhood, your New Home Advisor is there to educate you about the specific homes available and guide you through the buying process. Your New Home Advisor acts as your onsite liaison with the Construction and Design teams while your home is being built. With 21 years of experience in the field, Mike Mahdi, a New Home Advisor from Sacramento, CA, tells us that thorough communication is what sets Tri Pointe Homes apart from other homebuilding companies. He often spends hours with customers to make sure their expectations are met. "I always make sure homebuyers are fully aware of the homebuying process, and what it takes from both parties to ensure a smooth purchasing experience", Mike explained. Everyone on the team works hard to ensure you are as informed as possible throughout the process.

A teamwork effort

When we asked Patrick Milks, a Construction Manager based in San Diego, CA, what he loves about working for Tri Pointe Homes, he responded, "My colleagues without a doubt. I am lucky to work with such a talented group of professionals." Patrick, as well as other Construction Managers are responsible for the construction timeline at each milestone, ordering materials, working with our valued trade partners, and overseeing the daily logistics of the construction process.Patrick does a great job continuing to be there for his homebuyers. "I provide all of our customers with my phone number and tell them that if they have any questions about anything to please reach out to me. I have found that, especially during construction homebuyers will reach out a lot of times with questions and they are generally very appreciative when I get back to them via text or answer their call."

Another key team member working with you on your new home, is your Design Consultant at the Design Studio. Your Design Consultant is an expert who helps you personalize your new home with the various interior design choices, finishes, and options that suit your style and budget. Andrea Polednak, a Design Consultant in Las Vegas, NV concurs about the team effort and says, "Each department supports each other. We work together from start to finish in an effort to achieve the best result, and each one of us has same goal: happy homeowners."

And that's not all: our work isn't done when your home construction is complete. Our Customer Care team is here to orient you to the operation, features and maintenance of your new home before you move-in and help answer questions and resolve items covered under your new home warranty. Darin Zekavat, a Customer Care Representative in Orange County – Los Angeles, says: "I like to make things easy for our customers." Zekavat tells us, "the first 2-3 weeks after a homeowner moves in is an important time. By knowing our homes and components, many times I show up on the initial appointment and complete multiple items in one visit. This is how I make life easier for our customers." He, along with all of our Customer Care team members, make sure your questions and concerns are addressed. "I strive to provide a great customer experience by becoming a trusted and dependable asset for our homeowners."
