Endless Parks, Trails, and Best Friends in Sammamish

While playing video games, baking yummy treats, and chasing their dog in the backyard has been fun, like many of us, Patricia and Ricardo Serradas are ready to spend time with their crew again. For now, they can at least safely wave to their best friends from their window in their new Sammamish townhome.

“That’s the funny part. When we moved in, we were familiar with Sammamish and actually already had a couple of friends who lived here,” Patricia said. “We had plans to buy a home eventually, but knowing that we could live close by to our friends prompted us to make the move.”

With friends in the neighborhood, they had already reveled in the calm and evergreen environment in Sammamish, with endless parks and lakes. With a handful of grocery stores and restaurants nearby, the neighborhood had everything they needed. The couple was still debating if it was the right time to buy, but when they saw the townhomes at Tri Pointe Homes’ Aurea community, they knew it would be a good fit.

“It was love at first visit – what impressed us the most was how ready-to-go each home was, it felt like we were meant to live there,” Ricardo said. “Before this we were renting and the vibe was just different – especially now with our friends just one block away, it feels like we’re really at home.”

Their new townhome provides plenty of space for Patricia, Ricardo, and their dog to work and play. The home layout is well-divided, yet open so they can have their own workspaces but still come together in the evenings. The high ceilings and open concept kitchen are complemented with black accents throughout the home to create a fresh, modern look.

And then there’s the video room…

“We had an open space right beside our bedroom that we wanted to make our own,” Patricia said. “We decided to install a projector and a wood panel wall – we spend hours together there watching TV, movies and playing games.”

As the world slowly reopens, the couple is not only excited to invite their friends over to their space, but are looking forward to a summer outside at the lake, just a short drive away.
