Finding Their Dream Homes

Three Washington families have made the move to brand-new Tri Pointe homes that fit their needs and lifestyles. Tri Pointe Homes is pleased to say “Welcome home” to the Keefes, the Pique and the Ricketts families.

The Keefe Family

Sabrina Keefe, a stay-at-home mom, and her husband Alex, a development engineer, were looking for a home to accommodate a multi-generational family, including three children and Sabrina’s mother. They found just what they needed in the Evergreen Heights community.

“We picked [our] floor plan because it was our dream house layout,” explains Sabrina Keefe. “It had lots of open space downstairs, a good-sized playroom, a room for guests and, most importantly, a space where my mom could live with us but still be separated from the rest of the home.”

To select the design details and finishing touches to their home, the Keefes enjoyed working with Tri Pointe’s Design Studio. “As a person who’s been obsessed with interior design and styling, it felt like my whole life was leading up to that studio. It was my heaven!” says Keefe.

She continues, “We hit the lottery with this neighborhood! We live in between families with three kids each, and we’ve all grown close. Our son used to be very shy, but now he’s adventurous and can’t wait to go outside and play with all his friends. I can’t imagine a better childhood than the one he is having right now.”

The Pique Family

The Pique family is also enjoying the great outdoors in their neighborhood of Harbor Hill in Gig Harbor. In this master-planned community, residents enjoy large homesites steps away from beautiful forested areas, scenic trails and parks.

Valerie, a corrections officer, and her husband Jagger, a Navy electrician, have a 4-year-old daughter, Layla. “I knew immediately this was where I wanted my daughter to grow up riding bikes, [with] lemonade stands [and] parks everywhere,” says Valerie Pique.

Gig Harbor was ranked by Smithsonian magazine as the “fifth best small town in America.” The family values the small-town setting with proximity to larger cities. Pique reports, “It is such a safe place to live, and it’s so picturesque. There is so much to do here: shopping, taking a stroll by the water, hiking a wonderful community.”

“Everyone kept telling us horror stories about being first-time homebuyers, and we never experienced an unpleasant moment during the entire process!” says Pique.

The Ricketts Family

The Ricketts continued a family tradition by selecting a Tri Pointe home. Earlier, Sydney Honda-Rickett’s sister and her husband purchased a Tri Pointe home. After hearing about their experience, the Ricketts found a home they loved in the Evergreen Heights community.

Sydney says, “The customer service was great, the sales process was smooth and [we] loved the modern design and finishes throughout the house.” She adds, “Tri Pointe really did so much to make it an enjoyable process.”

With three young children, the Ricketts appreciate their excellent school district and neighborhood. “There are so many young families here and [we] love that our kids always have someone to play with,” the couple says.

The community’s proximity is also a plus for her husband’s daily commute. “His commute is far better than it used to be since moving, and he doesn’t have to get on 405 or I-5 to get there,” Sydney says. “I love that he always gets home at a decent time, and we are able to enjoy our evenings together as a family.”
