The holiday season comes with many reasons to celebrate, but at Tri Pointe Homes®, we also see it as an important time to give back and make a difference. Our Arizona division embraced the true spirit of the season this year through two impactful programs: the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots® Drive and the Adopt-a-Family Program in partnership with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul®. Guided by our Compass Club program, these efforts brought warmth, joy, and hope to those in need throughout our communities.

Toys for Tots: Big Hearts, Bigger Smiles

For the second consecutive year, Tri Pointe Homes Arizona proudly hosted a Toys for Tots drive to bring holiday joy to children in need. Across multiple collection sites, our team rallied to fill six donation boxes — the equivalent of two truckloads of toys. These gifts, made possible through the kindness of our team members and communities, help families who might otherwise face a holiday without presents.

Adding a touch of friendly holiday spirit, the team hosted a competition for the most creatively decorated toy collection box. This year’s standout winner came from the Scottsdale Main Office, where imagination and holiday cheer were on full display.

Adopt-a-Family: Turning Holiday Wishes into Reality

Through the Adopt-a-Family initiative, our Arizona team partnered with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to help those experiencing challenges feel seen, supported, and celebrated this season. In total, Tri Pointe Homes Arizona sponsored six families, each receiving not only essential gifts but also the care and consideration that transforms a simple delivery into something extraordinary.

Here are just a few examples:

  • The Operations Team — The team learned that the father was in the hospital awaiting open-heart surgery. Despite his circumstances, his gratitude was overwhelming. Their wish list included Disney Bluey toys, calligraphy sets, and warm clothing. Tri Pointe’s Operations team went above and beyond to ensure that this family’s holiday was filled with warmth and hope.

  • The Construction Team — A single mother raising five children requested Star Wars Legos, soccer balls, and essential clothing. One of our field construction managers personally donated to supplement the family’s gifts, reflecting the team’s shared commitment to lifting others up.

  • The Land Team — New to Arizona, this family had recently moved from Mexico and didn’t yet have a Christmas tree or decorations. Our Land Team delivered not only wrapped gifts and essentials, but also a Christmas tree and trimmings, giving the family a chance to decorate together and create new traditions in their new home.

  • The Sales and Marketing Departments — The team learned that new parents were hoping to bring their baby home from the hospital in time for Christmas. Together, both Sales and Marketing pooled resources to provide baby essentials like diapers, a bassinet, and clothes, along with special gifts including soccer items and dolls for the older siblings.

The generosity didn’t stop there. In addition to Tri Pointe’s $3,000 contribution to the effort, the Arizona team collectively raised an additional $1,000 to fulfill wish lists and provide extra necessities including clothing, shoes, hygiene products, grocery store gift cards, and kitchenware.

The Compass Club: Leading with Purpose

Behind these initiatives stands The Compass Club, a cross-functional team at Tri Pointe Homes dedicated to fostering cultural engagement and positive community impact. From planning events to rallying team members across departments, the Compass Club ensures that giving back is in the DNA of our company culture. This season’s efforts are a testament to the club’s leadership and the selflessness of our team.

The holidays can be a difficult time for those facing adversity, but small acts of kindness can make a world of difference. Tri Pointe Homes Arizona demonstrated that building homes isn’t just about bricks and mortar — it’s about building connections and supporting neighbors. We are immensely proud of our team’s compassion, generosity, and tireless commitment to making a positive impact. These moments remind us of the true meaning of the season.
