Award-Winning Townhomes: Tri Pointe Homes Takes Gold & Silver at the 2026 Charlotte Parade of Homes
Two Plans, Two Awards

Tri Pointe Homes® Charlotte Division brought home two judged awards at the 2026 Charlotte Parade of Homes. The Regent at Ascend in Ballantyne won Gold in the $700K price range while the Knight at Camryn at Southbridge in Fort Mill won Silver in the $500K price range.
Winners were announced on September 30 at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in Charlotte. Hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte, the Parade is the region's largest open house, featuring 37 new homes and five virtual entries from builders across the region. Awards are judged within price-range categories, so each Gold and Silver marks one of the strongest homes at its price point.
The two winning townhomes are in different communities, price ranges and even states, but both are designed around the same idea: that a premium home isn't defined by price alone. It's about thoughtful design, quality details and spaces that give you room to live in, not just store things.
Here's a closer look at what made each one stand out.

Gold Award: The Regent at Ascend in Ballantyne
The Regent is a three-story townhome with 3–4 bedrooms, 3–5 baths, and approximately 2,320–2,561 square feet. It earned Gold in the $700K price range by making every floor work hard.
Flexible Space on Every Floor
The first floor features a GenSmart Suite® with its own living area, full bath and walk-in closet—ideal for multigenerational living, long-term guests or a private home office. homebuyers can also choose a first-floor flex space or fourth bedroom with a full bath.
The main living level centers around a gourmet kitchen with gas appliances, generous counter space and a walk-in pantry. Large windows bring natural light into the kitchen, dining area and great room, while a spacious covered outdoor living area extends the home's entertaining space.
Upstairs, the primary suite includes a walk-in closet with a window, while a third-floor loft provides additional space for a playroom, reading nook or home office. A rear-load two-bay garage keeps the front of the home clean and walkable.
Why Ballantyne
Ascend is a community of 42 townhomes at 10018 Princess Crossing Drive, in the heart of Ballantyne and close to the shopping, dining, and entertainment of the Ballantyne campus.

Silver Award: The Knight at Camryn at Southbridge in Fort Mill
The Knight is the largest plan at Camryn at Southbridge, with 3–4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and approximately 2,159–2,181 square feet across two stories. It earned Silver in the $500K price range for a layout built around busy mornings and easy evenings.
Designed for Everyday Living
A covered front porch leads into a welcoming foyer and a bright, open main floor. The kitchen anchors the space with a large center island and a walk-in pantry, flowing straight into the dining area and great room. Outdoor living space off the great room makes it easy to have dinner or game night outside.
Upstairs, the primary suite offers a walk-in shower, a walk-in closet, and optional tray ceilings. Both secondary bedrooms also have walk-in closets, so no one gets the short end of the storage. A loft gives the household a second hangout space for homework, work calls, or movie night.
The upstairs laundry room sits right where the clothes are, with an optional sink. A front-load two-bay garage completes the plan.
